Cut & Paste Doesn't Always Work

Anonymous
Not applicable

I create a sketch.  I want to make a copy of it and place the copy somewhere.  So I select it.  That works.  I Right-Click and I see the drop down with the word Cut Cntl-C.   Then I click on a different part of the space.  I Right-Click again.  All I see is Cut Cntl-C.  (Only rarely will I see the  Paste).    I've tried to do Cntl-V and that does nothing either.

Attached are 3 steps.

Take a look at the Screencast for the process.

Thanks @jhackney1972  for showing how to copy and paste sketch geometry within a single sketch.

For more information about any command, try the Help menu, found under the ? in the upper right corner of Fusion 360. Be sure to filter the results by 'product documentation'.

Here is the help page for copy and pasting sketches. Please let me know if this answers your questions.
