Customizing mouse 3D navigtion and 3D Mouse navigation?

Will there ever be an ability to change the 3D mouse navigation?  It is terrible-- why can't it be a common sense setup or give us the ability to change it to suit our needs?  Seriously, 3D navigation is a fundamental basis of 3D software guys.

Same with the mouse navigation and button setup-- why is there no Rhino setting or the ability to change those settings to suit our personal needs?  This has been brought up time and again over the years and it is a basic function of your software.  Why should I change the settings I have been using for 15+ years to suit what you want?

Whenever I  try to get back into Fusion I spend hours of time cursing and making mistakes because of muscle memory.  By the time I get it figured out and move over to other software, I'm screwing up over there.

Why can't you guys fix such a simple, basic problem?

I would like to emphatically support this sentiment. I don't have a 3D mouse, but I work in Rhino for my job. I have been trying to learn Fusion sporadically for a few years and I give up every time because of the navigation. If I select "tinkercad" for the pan, orbit, zoom preset I can kind of get used to it after a few hours, but after working all weekend in Fusion 360, I am messing up at work. Fusion already have 5 different pan, orbit, zoom configs so it is not like it is a technical limitation. I imagine that this would be the simplest thing to implement.

On a related note, does anyone know if the programmable 3DConnexion Cadmouse has the ability to customize the pan, orbit, zoom, marking menu at the hardware level? I would like the default Rhino mouse navigation with middle mouse button tap doing the marking menu.
