Custom Threads No Longer Working

Several years ago I created custom thread libraries for STI (Standard Threaded Inserts, i.e., Helicoils) and DIN Pipe Threads.  This worked really well, the only nuisance was I had to keep moving the file every time Fusion did an update.  Now, however, I can't get this to work at all.  I believe I lost this functionality when the Hole Function was updated to enable threading as well.

I am on a Mac, OS 10.14.3 (Mojave), and running the latest version of Fusion 2.0.5357

Anyone else experiencing this problem?  Any chance we could get the STI threads included with Fusion, we use Helicoils all the time.

Thanks.

Your file worked fine on my Win PC. Both from the hole tool and adding a thread to an existing hole. Is the thread showing on the dialog or does it just not work.

It does not show up in either the Create Hole or Create Thread menus.

It's possible that the thread library location was moved on the Mac and I am no longer putting the custom threads in the correct directory.  I've done the same procedure as always though, not sure why it won't work.

Have you tried restarting Fusion. Also are you sure you are using the correct directory, try a search for ISOMetricprofile.xml and see if there's another copy somewhere.

Fusion gets restarted daily.

I did do a search in my Library directory, it only appears in one place, that's where I have my custom thread profiles.

Guess you'll have to weight until someone with a mac gives it a try. If someone with a mac want to try see this page for the location to copy the file.

So I have a buddy with a Mac and Fusion, I sent the files to him and it worked.

So I did a complete uninstall of Fusion, followed by a clean install, and now it works as expected.

Thanks for the help.

@mswamp

It would be nice if STI was standard in Fusion.  Many thanks for attaching the STI files!!!
