Custom sheet metal rules are all missing

On logging in today my whole library of sheet metal rules have all gone missing. The only ones that seem to appear are the default ones. The custom rules have taken many months to develop and I need them back as soon as possible please. Can somebody please help get them back for me ?

Thanks for your posting.

As I understand from your comments you lost your customized rule, sorry for inconvenience you facing while working on sheet metal.

So I need some more information related to this issue like when you observe this rule gets reset means you did any re-installation or changed your account or did any reset from preference setting.

In mean time to recover your customized rule try to open old document where you used customized rule from that design you can copy that rule to your library, please let me know If this is not working for you.

Thanks for your comments. A friend of mine logged out of my account about 2 weeks ago, and logged in with his account. He logged out of his account on Tuesday 28th May. When I logged back into my account that is when I realized all my custom settings had disappeared.

I have noticed a couple of people with the issue of their custom sheet metal rules having gone missing, and I am unable to see a solution from the Fusion 360 team to retrieve them. I have an extensive custom sheet metal rules library built over the period it was introduced, probably the most important set of parameters in my Fusion 360. I would be distraught if I were to find mine to have disappeared overnight. This would really give me serious problems in the work place. May I ask the Fusion team if there is no way of retrieving this information, is there a way of backing up the rules, so in the event of a loss they can be restored. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Apart from this one major concern may I commend the team in their development and advances in the sheet metal work space and look forward to seeing further innovations in this area.

We truly apologies for this sheet-metal issue.

We are working on this issue, and planning to fix this as early as possible.

But currently we don't have any solution for rule which get lost because corruption or don't have any option 

to back-up custom rule, But yes on this front also we started working on and definitely we will fix this too. We hope that work-around for lost custom rule is working for you.

Definitely you will see some enhancement on sheet-metal in couple of upcoming release.

Semi-new fusion user, just happened to me. Only thing I did out of the ordinary recently was open some .dxf files someone else had designed in metric. Prior to that, all my sheet metal custom rules were there..... >:l

it happened to me too. fusion has too many unsolved problems... how can you guys expect people to pay subscriptions as these many ongoing problems. settings and parameters disappear without any warnings. Your users have to stop their works

Well, I also had all my sheet metal rules disappear.  However, I had most of them sort of backed up.  The best way I found to back up the sheet metal rules was a method I found when I was trying to share sheet metal rules between other users.  Basically, you make a sheet metal part and then add every sheet metal rule you have to it.  If they ever disappear out of your library, you can add them back in from this one part.  Here is the youtube video I found about how to do this.
