Custom dimensions with tolerances. Is it possibe?

Hi, I needed to draw some extra features on 2d drawing in F360, now I want to measure that feature. Unfortunately, the drawn feature is in a 1:1 scale when the overall drawing is in a 1:2 scale. Basically, 100mm is 50mm for the drawn features. I removed the dimension and added the correct dimension. But now I am unable to give any tolerance to the dimension. Is it possible to give tolerances for a custom dimension?

Hi,

create the feature in design mode and create an additional base view if necessary.

it's impossible for this design because I need to use section view on 2d drawing so I need one 3d model only.

Hi,

Since neither pictures are available nor a view of the design is possible, target-oriented hints are not possible.

You are not modeling your part correctly nor are you creating the 2D drawing correctly if you are mixing scales.  Models are always modeled in full scale (1:1) and drawings will have views in a selected scale and details and section views can be in other scales as desired.  Attach your model and let the forum users help you with your issue.  Make sure you describe what your end result should be in detail as far a views and scales.

Hi

I am designing a STATOR wheel like this one attached.

Now I am working on 2d drawing and I don't think there is a better way to make the drawing rather the attached drawing. Please look at the view on the right side. Do You see how "teeth" are marked? This is what I am trying to achieve.

I drew the whole view on the right side and here is the problem. So the stator on the left view is a base model on a 1:2 scale. The right view is a fully drawn view by the "sketch" feature.

Basically, everything since now was okay but then I want to measure all teeth with +/- tolerance and the problem is I got dimensions on the wrong scale... ok, I can fix that. That's clear. But what about tolerances? I can't give any tolerances to custom dimensions...

I can't also use the "Detail View" feature on the drawn sketch...
