Cursor freezing while trying to create arc

Hello,

I have seen people post about this with no real solutions.

Every time I try and create arcs the cursor will not follow the mouse and freezes or gets stuck on screen. I have tried the workarounds like zooming in and out, doesn't work.

I just purchased this and am very frustrated as from what I can see this has been an issue for years.

My machine is an i7 - 8700 3.2ghz, 16GB RAM, 500GB HDD / 200GB avail. System resources are all in low range after fresh reboot, still occurs.

Thanks,

So I hope this helps someone else, I figured out what the issue was.

The issue is cause by the invisible bounding box for any menus that are on screen at the time. Even if the mouse is not close to the menu, the bounding box for that menu affects the cursor. The one I have the most issue with is the Browser menu. After you select an arc tool, if you try and move the cursor to the left near the browser menu the tool cursor will not move there after a certain point.

If you collapse the menu, it works. Something curious is that if you collapse then immediately open it, the problem goes away for the 3-Point and Center Point, but still has the problem with the tangent arc.

It is really annoying and I hope Autodesk will fix this bug.
