Creating drawing with template - is there away to turn off auto sheet creation??

When creating a drawing from a model, if I create 'from scratch' it just makes a single page, then I can add more manually as needed. When creating a drawing using a template I created, it makes one page per component in the model, whether I have 'Automatic' or 'Manual' selected in the create dialog. Is there a way to tell it NOT to do one page per component? Many times I want to just do the full model as one assembly on one page.

Hi @crueby1

It sounds like you are using a "Smart Template". This is any template with pre-defined views or sheets.

Deleting the browser nodes, views and sheets, will give you the behavior that you are expecting.

Take a look at this link, for more info on how to convert your template to a normal template:

Perfect! That did the trick, thanks very much!   The help pages around the drawings/templates could really use an update to explain the workflows better!
