Crashing and freezing randomly

Hello all,

 

Fusion has been acting odd for weeks now. Has anyone stumbled across same failure that i am having Fusion might run really great for 5-30 minutes then some random action crashes(not responding)

this will resolve in few minutes but its like a snowball from the first crash even fetching diagnostic log will crash it.

Does this happen with particular files, or any file? Same behavior in a new empty file? Do you get any error messages (anything related to graphics)?

 

Can you collect your logs from the service utility and share them here?

when fusion is "working" i can do everything no problems but when crashing and freezing occurs it doesnt matter if its new desing existing desing

Also i have an open Case on this matter where is probably 3 diagnostic sets and i had a teams meeting where i did show it "live"

Ah - ok. Going through the case I see that this is a known issue the team is working on related to Appearances/Materials. It's being tracked internally as FUS-102453. The only workaround I can think of would be to avoid using appearances while the team works on a fix. Following the case will be the best way to get updates.

its not only appearances i have avoided appearances since they became unstable

It may not be directly obvious, but all of your crashes are pointing to the same problem. That being said, it's possible that you are encountering another bug in addition to this one, but it would be very difficult to tell.
