Crashes In Drawing Space

I keep coming across these weird bugs in the drawing space. And I can't figure out what is causing them. I have been using Fusion almost 10hrs a day for ~2 years with relatively the same workflow and little issues. Usually I am able to find a work-around of sorts. This particular drawing has 32 pages, ~150 Base views, and 227 drawing versions. I've done quite a bit of drawings with this size and complexity with no issues.

This screenshot shows the crash error I get on the rare occasion that it lets me add a base view.

This screenshot shows what happens about 90% of the time with this. It shows this cursor I have never seen. Freezes all actions (IE. accessing library, creating new views, deleting view, etc.) I am also unable to exit out of the window using the top left. I have to force close through task manager.

Hi @CalliesWelding

I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Please share a link to your drawing, so that I can ask the team to investigate this for you. If it is sensitive, feel free to send it directly to me Clint. Brown {a} Autodesk.com

Once you have shared the drawing with us, please can you also let us know what command(s) you were using when you run into this issue?

Opening the file is ultimately what's causing it... I basically am locked out of working on the drawing. It gives me only two options. Freezes without doing anything OR freezing after I try and do something.

I will be sending this direct as it is sensitive information.

Hi @CalliesWelding ,

The alternate way to share the data without opening the file is:

  • RMB click on the file through the data panel and you will get the link to share.
  • The data is useful since the issue appears to be data specific.

Hopefully, you don't see this issue with any other drawing files.
