Hi @spike.moa ,

I hope you're doing well. I have contacted the developers on this. I can't duplicate it, I get a feeling that something went wrong with the installation. Have you tried re-installing Fusion 360.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hi @spike.moa ,

I hope you're doing well. I got some feedback from the developers. First, a possible workaround will require using one or both of the these environment variables.

QT_QUICK_BACKEND=software
QT_OPENGL=software

They also asked a few questions, if you could reply the answers to them that will really help.

"
What about other QtQuick software? like Dropbox.(If you have dropbox does it work without issue?)
What about other dialog? like Team switcher or Insert McMaster.
Does the user have multiple monitor or multiple GPU? What will happen if unplug them?
Does the user have USB display link / dock station?
"

Thanks in advanced for your attention.

In preference>graphic driver, I was using "Auto-Select".

When the issue happened, I tried manually select each option.

I think the auto-select uses DX11 because when I choose DX11 the issue remains.

I selected DX9 then something wrong with the tool bar.

Finally I choose OpenGL Core Profile, and it works.

PS: The VGA driver was up to date.

I don't know if the above helps.

Reply to the dev team:

1. DropBox works ok.

2. "Insert McMaster" works ok

3. I use I7-7700 internal vga. Single monitor with HDMI connection. No other display devices. (This is a really simple computer.)

**pcb designer and schematic editor are both good.

Hi @spike.moa ,

Thanks for the response, I've let our developers know of your response. Let's see what they come back with. Using the OpenGL core it sounds like everything is working for you. Is that correct?

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
