Crash when deleting components

Anonymous
Not applicable

Since the update Fusion crashes everytime I try to delete components, or groups of components. I've had limited success deleting small bits at a time. For example all the joints, then each individual bit, but as soon as I try to delete what I'd call an assembly the whole program comes crashing down.
Any thoughts for a work around?

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for reporting the issue, and sorry to see you're having problems deleting the assembly as a whole.
Would it be possible for you to share the data set with us?
You can either export the whole assembly as an F3Z archive (from Fusion Team in your Browser) or you can share your project with me: ahsan dot ali at autodesk dot com. This will help us quickly narrow down on the problem with the data set.

Thx much for your help

Thanks for sharing the project. I'm able to reproduce the crash when deleting the components. Will need to work with some other teams to try and get to the bottom of these issues.

Hello there,
Are you seeing any crash report dialog in Fusion when you see the issue? Were you able to send that crash report to Autodesk? If yes, can you please PM me the email address that was used when submitting the report? I'm trying to figure out if you're seeing the same issue or if its different.
Thx and regards

I'm having the same problem.  I imported an SVG and extruded it. I then tried deleting the resulting solid. Fusion freezes.  It's using 37% of my CPU and 1900Mb of memory. Apparently in some kind of endless loop. I've done this several times with different SVGs with the same result.
