Countersink hole problems

I want to create a simple clearance hole for a metric screw (i.e. m6x1). It seems i have to first select the "tapped hole" option to choose the screw standard and size of m6x1. But the size of the screw diameter, the screw head, and the countersink are all incorrect from the ANSI standard. For instance the hole diameter is 5.035mm and the screw head is 5.539mm.

What am I doing wrong?

Why are you opting for tapped hole? You want a 6.5mm Hole with countersunk I assume?...NOT threaded?

Hi - Well thats another issue i have that I don't understand...if i select "simple" which is what i want, then the option to select the screw standard and size goes away. I assumed this was just poor UX design but perhaps its a bug or something stupid i'm doing...

@davidmrosner

You are creating a Clearance Hole.

Also, your sketches are under defined and best check your dimensions.

Blue curves and white dots should keep you awake at night.
