If you have 2d drawings associated with this assembly, open one or more of the, right click on the model at the top of the drawing Browser and select Open from there.  I tried to clean up your assembly using the cloud without success.

Hi, where you able to open on the cloud and delete some components?. I think the issue is with the components that are imported I had issues updating components in last versions as it close the software when updating. I think that could be the problem. could you delete all associated components and try?.

I can reproduce the crash, and have sent it off to the appropriate dev team to look at.  Thanks for sharing it.

Hi there,

Thanks for sharing the data set and log files. Can you please also answer the following questions:

  • Are you able to open the previous versions of this file?
  • Do you remember any warning/error dialogs earlier before the file was last saved?
  • Was the file recovered from a previous crash?
  • Are you seeing other such file corruptions?
  • Are you in a position to share the project so we can try and debug this issue? If so, can you please share it with me: ahsan.ali at autodesk dot com

Thx again
Ahsan

Here is a work around to get you going. However, it does entail loss in one of your Flat Pattern data.

  • Go to the following folder: C:/Users/<NT User ID>/AppData/Local/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/XTLLJMVDDCY6/W.login/F
  • Use your favorite ZIP uncompression utility (7-Zip is a good one) to open the file "_horno 2.###.f3d" - on my machine, the name of the file was "_horno 2.83884479-9a08-4e59-9d9a-24d369064d70.f3d", but it'll be different for you
  • Delete the sub-folder FlatPatternAssetSubType_2_2 and save/close the f3d
  • Open "horno 2" in Fusion
  • It should open fine now, but without that specific Flat Pattern data
  • Make any slight edit to the document and save
  • This should create a new version which can be opened without the above steps

We'll try and figure out what could've caused that particular Flat Pattern data to go bad. If you can think of any special workflow that could've caused it, please do let us know.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Regards,
Ahsan

Hi,

  • I was having issue to update the inserted component horno2 component, every time I clicked on update model fusion closes, I suspect that could be the corrupted file.
  • I was not able to open previous version of the file.
  • I could share you the file, which one do you need so I can send it to you?.

 thanks,

I get lost in some of the steps. I am confused how to do after going to the the specific folder

C:/Users/<NT User ID>/AppData/Local/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/XTLLJMVDDCY6/W.login/F

I find multiple files I dont know which one it is also I if you could post a screen cast of how to open it in fusion.

If its posible I want to revert to the version horno2 v182 and also horno2_component v44, how could I do

thanks.

may be, could you share the link to the Horno 2 v182 without the flat pattern 2_2 ?. I could download from web and replace the latest version from file in fusion. Hope I will not loose the associativity with the drawings. Thanks.

To open the drawings, please perform the following steps:
- Delete all "Horno 2" files in C:/Users/<NT User ID>/AppData/Local/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/XTLLJMVDDCY6/W.login/F/_XRef_
- Copy the "Horno 2" file that you repaired to the _XRef_ folder
- Also copy the xx file related to that f3d
- Try opening the Drawing file again

Thx and regards
