continuous Updating - Cannot Load my files

Anonymous

I tried loading Fusion this morning to modify a design. Two of my designs have a rotating circle (See attachment) Continuous updating. I cannot open these two files to work on them. I have let it run now for over 2 hours and it does not finish. Is there any way I can clear this up so I can work on them?

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! I am sorry to hear that you have been unable to access these files and that they seem to be stuck in the save process.

Have you restarted Fusion 360 recently? I would be curious to see if shutting the program down and restarting it pushes through whatever is interfering with the cloud upload. This will not cancel the upload - just make sure the program does not prompt you to save the stuck designs. It is possible that the designs are saved and the Data Panel is not updating.

I would also try working through some of the suggestions in this article - hopefully this will help! If you still cannot access the files, let me know the filenames and gather your diagnostic log files and attach them to this forum thread - I am happy to have a look! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Yes I have shut 360 down several times. I even went to another computer and loaded Fusion 360 and the updating circle did not show up there but when I tried to load eather of the two files I received a message to wait until updating completed. These are both 3D print Files so I have printed them but I would like to keep the files for possible updates. Carl

In looking over the things in the files you suggested, I found "clear user cache area". I clicked on it and Fusion closed and reloaded and now everything is OK.. Thank you very much.

Had the same problem and the "clear user cache" solved the problem.  The link referenced above is broken, I found the clear user cache in Help(?) -> Support and Diagnostics -> Clear cache data.  If forces a restart.
