My project cannot be opened. I used the "insert derivation" option. Unfortunately, I deleted the projects from which I imported the objects before I saved the other project. Thanks for posting. From your description, it sounds like you know what the problem is. If a design uses references that are now deleted it cannot use those reference designs. (the derive source files).

If you are an admin/owner of a hub where the designs were deleted, you should be able to find them in the trash can and restore them. Look at the web view of your team hub, at the top level of the project where the deleted designs were deleted. Like this:
