Hi everyone, sorry for reviving a 5 year-old thread but I've run into a similar issue.
I'm attempting to create a plane through two parallel edges to create a diagonal plane (represented by the blue line) that joins two RHS sections, lets call them A and B (seen below).

Bar A is a simple upwards extrusion created from the following geometry:

Bar B is created by sketching on a plane which has been offset vertically from the plane that Bar A was sketched on. the geometry looks like this:

The faint sketch profile is the profile Bar A was created from. From this, the outer edges of Bars A and B are constrained parallel with each other. Despite this, the outer edges of Bars A and B do not allow for a Plane Through Two Edges object to be created from them, as seen below.

However, the outside edge of Bar A and the inside edge of Bar B allows for a plane to be created, even though the inside edge of Bar B is constrained parallel with the outside edge.

Could anyone provide an explanation on why this occurs? I am unfortunately pretty stumped. I would prefer not to share complete files of this dataset since it's a proprietary design but I can try to provide clarification where necessary. Thanks in advance!
