Constant stalling/lagging issues?

Hey everyone, I have had this issue for a while now I cannot figure out what is causing it.

It seems that fusion stalls/lags pretty often on what seems like fairly basic models. 

My system should be grossly over-rated for fusion. 

I am running

Windows 10

Intel Core i7 8700

Radeon Vega 64 8gb GPU

32gb RAM

384gb of SSD storage.

Fios gigabit internet connection.

I ran internet speed test, all good.

I tried "optimizing graphics" in the help drop down. No good.

I also cleared the cache.

nothing seems to resolve it. It is very frustrating and takes the joy out of modeling.

seems like we are all having the same issue - some ideas are already spreading on this link.. please use it so we have more people in one location, maybe that way we get a solution quicker.
