Constant freezing/not responding- any workspace

Been using fusion for a while on an old laptop. It would only start freezing when working on complex projects. I started a business a few months ago and purchased a new laptop (just factory reset and reinstalled fusion, again). The laptop is an Asus ROG Flow X13 (AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS, Radeon NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Graphics & 16 GB RAM).

Fusion 360 freezes when I try to do basically anything (measure, sketch, extrude, and sometimes even just orbit). It will stop responding even when working on basic projects that should only take 30 minutes to create. I don't have an OBJ file to attach at the moment, but I attached an STL for the time being.

It has been constantly freezing so I've been trying to reach out to the support for a while. But so far they only told me to uninstall/reinstall (no change). Now I just get reoccurring emails saying my case about to close. I've tried every single "slow performance" tip that I could find. No change. Disabled antivirus, ran network checks, updated all drivers - no change. I'm desperate to find a fix for this, as I'm falling behind on work very quickly.

No change with tips found in "Slow performance and freezes when working in any workspace in Fusion 360" and other related posts.

ANY advice would be greatly appreciated. I've been dealing with this for over a month and have been pulling my hair out.

Logs attached. Not sure if anything will be on there because I just reset my computer and reinstalled fusion 360. Began freezing before I opened anything. After I opened the file it began freezing more.. hopefully these give some insight.

This is a mesh file.  Is this the starting point for your designs, or an output of a design created natively in Fusion.  What are you trying to do with this mesh?  What operations are you performing?  You mention Sketch, Extrude, etc.  Those are BRep solid/surface operations.  Does that mean you are trying to convert this mesh to a BRep, then work in BRep?  What kind of conversion?  The faceted conversion?  If so, then I am not surprised that Fusion is slow.  That workflow is not recommended, with a mesh as complex as this one.  No matter how fast your computer is, if you are operating on a BRep from a mesh this size, it will be slow.  It would help to understand what your overall workflow and goals are.

I should have been more clear. The mesh file was an output from fusion. I didnt have another to file to upload at the time as I just wiped my computer when I reset it. I do have all of my other files now. However, fusion freezes even if I work with solids created in a new project.

I mainly use solids to create the rough shape and use operations, such as sketch/extrude/fillet to refine the shape. When needed, I also use generative design. Afterwards I export the file as mesh and upload it to my 3d printer. As far as goals, I'm not sure I know what you mean. On a basic level, I'd like to design 3d components and use things like generative design without fusion suddenly freezing and hanging indefinitely.

OK, that helps, thanks.  Can you export one of the designs that you are having problems with as a "Fusion Archive"?  Just want to see whether it is inherent to the design or somehow in your installation/setup/etc.  Does Fusion behave poorly if you create a really simple design?  That is, just a sketch, an extrude, and, say, a couple of fillets?  If so, then it may be your graphics driver or something similar.

It doesnt seem to make a difference if its a complex project or a simple one made with a few sketches. It sometimes can go a several minutes working normal but then freeze with any input (orbit/pan/zoom). Just now I opened fusion and it froze as soon as I clicked the "file" drop down menu. I didnt even have a project open this time.

I'm way out of my depth here, but try switching to a different DirectX mode in Fusion - I've heard that this can affect overall performance.  Try switching to DirectX 9, as described here:  how-to-set-to-directx-10-or-9  and here:  tips-on-fusion-360-performance
