Configuration menu line width

When using the configuration menu even when you resize the window the column width still stays very narrow which means that you have to hover over each configuration to view its full name. Is there a way to resize the column width for configurations so that it uses the available real estate.

After you have sized the Configure dialog box, you can double left click on the column title and the column will expand to show the longest line.  It will remain expanded, unless you double click on it again, until the dialog is closed. There does seem to be a limit on the amount the column will expand.
