Component duplication process is skipped

When I try to duplicate pasting as new a component, the process and the selection are skipped.

This is one weird way to share a file.  This one is not available, I get the following error if I try and download it.

I'm not sure why, I tried to download it from other devices and it works, also it shows it was downloaded different times before that.

The attachment on this forum is too small for that file.

From what I can tell, you are trying to Copy and Paste New a sub-assembly which contains a Linked component.  The linked component can not be Pasted New as this is a Fusion 360 rule.

Hi, I tried other designs even from scratch with no linked files but the components copy and paste feature always fails the same way.

In the past I could do it even with red marked errors in operations that I could fix later in the timeline.
