Cloud upload stalling

andrew.wurst

Have been trying to upload files for days. seams to be stalling. Have followed Troubleshooting on forums about clearing cache bus still no improvement.

attempting to backup files on pc but required cloud for computing. I'm loosing any work done unless I output as .stp etc

Is there an issue with the Fusion 360 cloud atm or have there been restrictions on cloud bandwidth or access on the education licence that I have not been made aware off.

Hope anyone can help.

@andrew.wurst @adamjbleau @requestsVCUR2 Can you please run the below and see if that clears the queue?

1. Close Fusion 360
2. Go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\UNIQUE ID\P.login\DELETE jobs.json

3. Go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\UNIQUE ID\W.login\DELETE folder Q
4. Go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\UNIQUE ID\W.login\DELETE UploadQueuedFileList.xml

5. Now start Fusion 360
Now if you create a new simple design does the upload work? If it does and then it gets stuck on a particular file, please note that file so that we can investigate.

Also are any of the designs you are working on, did you copy it from another design by any chance?

I have searched in vain and do not have any of these files.  I have searched hidden files as well.  Since the last update last week I cannot open or upload any kind of new files.  I can open all my previous projects.

@requestsVCUR2 @Just to clarify all your new files are getting stuck on upload?

on your old files if you open/save does the upload happen?

The problem is only when bringing new files in (stp, sldprt, xt, etc).  When I click Open, nothing happens.  I have the same problem when using Upload

@requestsVCUR2 @This seems to be a slightly different issue that we are aware of using File-open.

if you go to the data panel and use the upload from there, this translation should succeed. Can you please confirm that ?

In the Job Status window, Open never appears and nothing happens when I right click.  In the Data panel, it never shows up.  I do see all my previous files, but never any new ones

@requestsVCUR2

Go to the data panel and into a project. Use the upload button in the data panel and select your file. Once the upload completes , at this point you are saying you do not see the uploaded file in the data panel in the project you uploaded too?

That is correct.  I do not see the new file.  I do see older files, but never any new ones.

@requestsVCUR2 Can you try the below workflow. This could help identify where the problem could be.

1. Login to FT Production login
2. Go to the project where you want the file stored
3. Upload the file
4. Now login to Fusion 360
5. Go to the same project in data panel - This should now show the file you uploaded
6. Right click on the file and select "Create Fusion design"
7. Now does the translation complete and you see a new file in the same project?

Also, other than other file format, if you create a new fusion design. save it, do you now see it in the project?
