I imported individual STP part files from Rhino and assembled them in Fusion 360. I joined everything with joints and would like to see if my linkages are working properly. I can't seem to move the bodies around. My assembly just moves as one big clump. I added a motion link, which seems to be working. (Although I'd like if the bodies didn't move freely through each other and would react to hitting other solid bodies.) I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Some of the other posts suggested turning on "component drag" in the selection menu. I don't see that as an option under my selection menu.

Hi,

One component has to be fixed (grounded)

Did you ground* a component or create "as built joint"  (rigid) with primary instance?

Hi Gunther, I did ground some joints, but after double checking, I went
back through to see if I over defined the joints. That seems to have been
the problem! After simplifying the mechanism it's moving perfectly. Thanks
for your help!
