Circular pattern failure

     I am trying to make a circular pattern of a 5 feature object with 8 instances.  When I execute the function it fails ( with error saying: C-pattern 1 > Compute failed > No fillet edge found ).  Fillet is in fact selected.  

    When I execute the same function using 5 instances, it executes fine.
