Circular Pattern Anomaly / BUG

I came a cross an anomaly / bug working with the circular pattern.  I've attached a file and screencast for review.  Yes, I know I can work around the problem with a different workflow however, I believe this is a bug that needed to be reported.

Basically the circular pattern, when referencing features, doesn't pattern all of the features even though the preview is correct.  In some instances the the operation fails.  I explore these instances in the screencast. (I hope it actually attaches this time)

Thanks for having a look.

Sincerely

Dale

No luck getting the screencast to attach. I'll try a link: SCREENCAST

Hello @gtprototype ,

Thanks for reporting this, I can see that the issue is reproducible on my side.

I have logged an issue(FUS-95927, internal use) for this and will check with my team on this.

The workaround I would suggest here is :

  • Instead of features in the Type dropdown, set as Faces
  • You can do a circular pattern as bodies

Let me know if this helps, Thanks!

Hi,

With patterns, you occasionally have to play with the pattern types and compute options.

identical or optmized.png

In this case  "Identical"  or "Optimized" are your friends or alternatively as  @mohammed.aliTDPXK  recommended select Pattern Type "Faces"
