Change line thickness permanently to thin

Hi

I'd like to Change line thickness permanently to thin.

This is because the printer i use makes the lines join together when the default line thickness "medium" is used. Selecting the line thickness EVERY time i do a drawing is unnecessary in my opinion, especially if i'm doing multiple drawings a day.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
