Change Joint Alignment Angle

Hello everyone,

When assembling 2 components with each other via joints I am able to change the relative position of the selected snappoints but only one angle. Quite often this angle rotates the object around a wrong axis and therefore resulting in a rotation that is useless for me. Why the heck is it not possible to set an angle for each of the three axis? Or is there an option to do this? Please help.

I did find out, that the "angle" belongs to an so called "joint axis", however I did not find a way to define or change the joint axis.

Best,

You will need to use the Joint Origin command to create the needed alignment.  This command can be used to create one or both required Joint origins to achieve what you probably are looking for.  If you attach your model and define your goal the Forum users may be able to assist.  Open your model, select the File menu, then Export and save to your hard drive.  Attach the file to a reply post.
