Change in User Parameter generates Sketch Compute Failed Warning

Could use some help please.

Using latest version of F360 and Windows 10 64 bit.

Developing a Sheet Metal work process to create rings which are resizable.

I have created a simple ring with User Parameters to drive the dimensions.  I get no errors or warnings as long as the RingID is 15.7.  When I change the RingID the Sketch generates a Compute Failed warning as seen in the attached file.

I have tried turning off "Auto Project Geometry onto Active Sketch Plane" and have tried to Fix/Unfix all Sketch objects but these have not resolved the issue.  Have others seen this?  Please advise if this is a bug or user error.

Thanks very much!

I found one conflict where you have over constrained the text box. You have a dimension to the top and bottom but then the height as well. This should give an over constrained error but perhaps when you created it the sizes were not conflicting.

Mark, thanks for the detailed explanation.  When I created the sketch the dimensions did not conflict so I received no error.  Changing the User Parameter RingID changed dimensions which created a problem with the overly constrained Text Box in the Sketch.  Interesting that the compute failed for all sketch dimensions.  The ring is resizing as designed now except for the Text.  I will research the issue with Text resizing as I see quite a few Forum posts on this topic.

Thanks again for the quick and very helpful review -- I will look over my sketches more carefully now for over constrained conditions.
