Chamfer tool crippled/broken in latest update

Since updating to the latest version the chamfer tool fails to produce a chamfer in areas where it would prior to the update. Gives the error message of being unable to chamfer and recommends chamfering individual sections. I have worked around an outline selecting sections and it will get to a point where the entire model disappears!!
I use this functionality on a daily basis and it is now preventing me from producing product.

Please attach your model and indicate where you would like to place chamfers.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a forum post to attach it.

which Chamfer tool are you referring to?  The Solid Chamfer tool:

Or, the Manufacturing 2D Chamfer tool:

As far as I know, there have been no changes to the Solid Chamfer tool in a very long time.  I cannot speak for the Manufacturing Chamfer tool, unfortunately.
