Chamfer Error

Hello there,

I am a newbie to Fusion 360 and 3D printing. I am having a problem with chamfer. I have created a sketch in AI then exported as DXF and brought into Fusion 360 and extruded it. Until that all perfect, but when I try to chamfer the faces I am getting errors, which is "mitred vertex too complex to process". I have attached a screenshot and also the working file, please help me with that.

You DXF must have some bad geometry.  I cleaned up the path on two of the sections and added a 0.3 mm chamfer.  The reason you will not be able to make it larger is because in one place, as indicated, the chamfer will intersect itself.  On the other body you can go up to 0.8 mm without issue because the edges are further apart.  Model is attached.

Edit: The method I used is a variation of the method outlined in this Blog Article and Video.

Hello, thank you for the reply. I checked for any unusual or unnecessary anchor points in AI, but it seems clean to me. I have attached the PDF and DXF file, could you please enlighten me where I would have gone wrong. Thank you again for you help, I really appreciate it.

Okay an update, I tried exporting DXF again from AI but this time I selected the version 2004/2005/2006 and now I can add chamfer up to 0.3mm (max) on some models which actually fixed my issue. But still if I be needing more than 0.3mm then I am not sure how I can achieve that 😅
