How do I create a parametric chamfer dimension on a drawing?

Hi,
parametric dimensions are added in Design Mode (sketch, extrude, ...) directly or user parameters.

@g-andresenI was looking to create a dimension on a drawing of a chamfer without having to create a text note or a couple dimensions.
I think I have a lot to learn. I expected dimensions in a drawing associated with part geometry to be linked to the geometry. It looks like they are not. So changed a diameter in the part does not change the dimension on the drawing.
Is that by design or am I missing a setting? My many years of inventor do not seem to be helping much with Fusion.
Thank you for the response and help.

That's right.
I had understood you to mean that you wanted to change a chamfer dimension.
Please share the file.

Hi @rpleshjr
Welcome to the forums!
Chamfer dimensions are something that we plan to add in the future, see our public roadmap (under annotations). For now, you will need to add dimensions to the chamfer.
With regard to parametric updates. Just like Inventor, once you save the 3D model and click on the update button, your drawing will update.
I hope that this is helpful
