Does Fusion 360 support chain and sprocket motion.?  I saw a YouTube where these can be copied from the McMaster catalog, but I don't see where anyone has successfully put the chain in motion around sprockets. Can we do this?

Fusion 360 does support the assembly joints necessary to show chain and sprocket motion.  You place the sprockets and then wrap them with a "fake" chain.  You then add Joints to the sprockets and "Motion Links" between these joints.  Here is an article on adding and using Motion Links.

I have attached a screencast of an Autodesk Inventor chain and sprocket assembly just to show you that this application also fakes the chain since to actually model it, which can be done,  and animating it would take way to much system resources.

1. Thanks for reply.
2. I didn’t know that it took twice. I didn’t see the first one in the list, so I did it again. I’m sorry. New to this.
