Carbon fiber appearance image does not show

Good afternoon!

I'm having an issue with the carbon fiber appearance. When applied to a body, the appearance image (the carbon fiber weave) does not show— instead, a solid, dark black appearance gets applied. I'm not sure what this is a cause of, as all other appearances, including 3d ones like wood, or multi-textured ones like mesh, get applied properly. This is only an issue with the carbon fiber (both regular and twill weave) appearance.

    I have verified that the images for the appearance are in my computer, in the linked location, and they are. 
    I have experimented with other appearances, and this only seems to be an issue with the carbon fiber one.

    I have uninstalled (fully, clean) and reinstalled fusion360 multiple times, restarted my computer, and repaired in the utility application. This happens to all new files, as well as my old files that previously had the texture applied. 

    I'm running the latest F360 version on a M1 apple device.

    Any ideas as to what is causing this issue, and what I can do to fix it?
