Canvas Image fades while creating a sketch

I am trying to make a new sketch/component. However when I do, the image I am trying to sketch over fades to an extreme level which does not allow me to see if well enough for sketching. Even with max opacity.

The canvas should not be dimmed unless it is owned by a different (and inactive) component than the one that owns the sketch.  Make sure that the parent component is the same.  If there is a good reason why the canvas needs to be in a different component, you can turn off the "active component visibility" setting here:

Direct result of activating the current component.

Turn up canvass opacity to 100 % in the Root Component.

Not tried it but you should be able to drag the Browser canvass entry into the current component.

If that doesn’t work, reload the canvass in the current component.

Might help....
