Ive been placing different text on this curved surface for ages and then extruding (its various text for a game). As you can see on the right hand piece

Now suddenly when I try to change the text the extrude fails and misses out a letter (letter W missing below)

and i get the error the extrude profile is not valid. if i change the text it works sometimes.

Hi @adammarkwalker,

I was not able to reproduce the issue, Can you attach the design that you have issue in Fusion 360?
You can export by File>Export *.f3d/*.f3z file to your local drive and then attach it here to a Reply.

Hi,

In all probability, this is caused by self-intersections of the contours during extrusion on curved objects.
Select the font and convert (explode) it to paths after right-clicking. Then you can see if there are such conflicting areas.
You can also share the f3d after doing explode.
