Hi!

I did an update earlier this morning and after this I wasn't able to send my file directly to the 3d printer.

How can i fix this?

If you right click the body in the browser do you have the option to Save As STL? This also gives you the option to send to your printer.

Dear,

same issue here. Also with just a 3D box i create in 2 seconds.

Save as STL option is availble, okay, and click OK (with different settings) and then nothing appears. Should normal a save as window but not in this case.

Then rightclicking in the browser is unresponsive. Can't try again to Save as STL or something else.... Need to restart Fusion360.

This all started after last update. Before never had problems with the STL topic.

Thanks for a solution.

What you describe sounds like a problem I've had where the open and save dialogs go missing. If you try using insert mesh do you get an open dialog?

If it's missing there are 2 things to try, first is it just off screen. Press Alt+Space then M then the up arrow and any dialog should jump to the mouse pointer.

If that doesn't work have you saved to a directory that's no longer available? There's a fix\workaround in this thread.

This post has the fix for windows, not sure of the location fat a mac, maybe a search for NMachineSpecificOptions.xml

will find the location.

Hi Mark,

The volume was still in a locked state (bitlocker, no pin entered yet)

Open volume, try Fusion 360, save AS STL and works fine. thanks! my specific issue is solved.
