I know how it works... drag and drop. Timeline marker at the end.

But i simply cant do anything more in my current assembly. Its impossible to rearrange any components.

no even with cut and paste.

What could also cause this issue??

Cross references/dependencies between the objects in the components.

Can you create a screencast?

I cannot reproduce that and it works fine on my end.

Aha! I see what you mean and was able to reproduce that in your design(still had a copy of it). I don't have a good explanation for that either, it should work!

@manuel.fr Is it possible to share the file? Looks to be a bug, which will help to analyze.

@manuel.fr The link does not allow the download of the file. Can you recreate the link by selecting the option Allow viewers to download to their computer?

@manuel.fr Thank you for the file. I am able to reproduce the issue. Created a bug and assigned it to the concerned team.

As a workaround, you could copy and paste the component to create a sub-assembly. Then delete the original component. Not a perfect solution but one you could try.

You might be able to "remove" the original component, but you can definitely not delete it!

I stopped using Fusion when the license system was changed. Now i came back for a small home project and discovered two major bugs… that’s somehow not positiv tbh.
I could not imagine working with that problems daily.
Hope they fix this and more stuff soon…

I am very confident that nothing has changed in this area in a very long time, and certain that it has nothing to do with the licensing system at all.  Restructure of an assembly has always had a set of fairly arcane rules, centered around dependencies in the component being restructured that allow it to work in some cases, and to not work in others.  So, while I agree that this is not a good situation, I don't believe that there has been a change here.
