cant convert stl to a body

i am trying to convert an stl to a body but it never works right. i always get an incomplete body (some orange incomplete cylinder) any ideas

Firstly, make sure you follow the correct workflow; i.e. you need to have ideally all the logical Face Groups (check this post or search in the forum). But anyway, mesh to BRep is not a viable modeling approach. It often fails, specially with low quality mesh or ones with blended curvatures. Generally speaking mesh should be used as visual reference for remodeling using Fusion's solid modeling tool.

That being said, please do share a mesh file you can't convert to get more detailed help.
