Cannot use function/formulas with a mixture of units

Hi!

I tried hard to find and answer here and noticed many users mentioning something similar, but let me hit straight to the "problem".

I'm trying to use a function/formulas that can only be done with a mixture of units. For example, I want the result to be an angle in Radians, which involves dividing the known Arc length (taken from another existing dimension (let's say d7) by the know radius (let's call it d9). Since the expected outcome is an angle, the system won't let me do the formulas because it involves dividing lengths to obtain an angle measurement. I tried working around it in several ways by making elements unitless, but since my formula is based on other functions that give lengths, they can't be unitless.

I'm sorry English isn't not my mother tongue and this is a slightly complex challenge I create for myself (a fully parameter enabled sketch that I can change by simply inputing a few key dimensions).

Let divide your dimension by its unit. In that way you will get digit with no unit.

Example: d7 = 5mm

alfa = angle [rad] * d7/1mm

It should works.

Hi,

share a file  (f3d) containing the variables and say what result you want.

Thank you!  It's very counter intuitive (at least for me) to divide by its own unit to "remove" the unit, but once known, it does make sense 😉   And it works.
