Cannot save or export

I've been working on a new design for a number of hours. I went to save it, but the save button does nothing. I cannot export either. Ctrl + Shift + S does nothing. I've seen "(CMD)" alongside the force save, but do not know its meaning in this context. I'm using Windows 10. It looks like it wants to update Fusion 360 by restarting. What can I do to not have to redo the design, please? Thanks.

Probably will not matter but Fusion 360 Save is Ctrl+S not Crtl+Shift+S.

Edit: I had another thought.  Fusion 360 will ask you to save when you try to close an unsaved file.  You may get the chance to try this out if you cannot find another way to get out of your currect design.  You may "test" this theory by picking a "+" to start a new design, just add a line, and then try and close it.  If it prompts you to save, you should get the same prompt when you try and close your main design.

I tried "Press CTRL(CMD) + SHIFT + S to force a recovery save.", as described in the link below. But I cannot be certain that it is doing anything. I assume CMD is an Apple keyboard thing, in that case it's just CTRL + SHIFT + S for W10.

The save dialog box does pop up, but the blue save button does nothing. The only thing it will allow me to do is save the design as an STL file via the 3d Print menu option. I can't close F360 because it then goes through all the open designs and asks if I want to save them. Of course, this doesn't work for new unsaved designs.

The only other option is to kill the application and pray.

I've managed to copy and paste the two new components I designed into another design that has already been saved. Clicking save still works in that project. I assume I lose the design history though?

Ok, prayers worked.😅 I killed the F360 application, restarted it and it allowed me to recover the designs. I just wish there was more feedback on what was going on.
