Hi, when I save a file after making a change, it doesn't load in the cloud. In the left panel the loading icon always turns but not loads. This situation only happens with a specific file. Other project files work correctly. I tried to save the file with a new name but always carries with it the same error. How can I resolve this problem? Thanks.

Hi @antonio5L2W4,

thanks for posting! I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this behavior. What is the size of the file you are trying to upload? Is it a native Fusion 360 design? Changing the settings for file transfers might resolve the issue:

  1. Click the Profile Name in the top right corner,
  2. Select Preferences,
  3. Select Network,
  4. Disable "Optimize file transfers depending on network performance".

Let me know if that helps. Thanks!

Hi Pawet, thanks for the quick reply.
I selected "View Offline Cache" in Setting in the left panel and it seems to be fine. I also changed the settings you told me. If I still have problems, I'll let you know.

I ask you, where do I find the size of a file?

Thanks again.

Hi @antonio5L2W4,

thanks for the reply! I meant the size of the file on your hard drive. If you are uploading a file from the hard drive, it should be easy to check the size; if it's design that was already stored in the Cloud, you can check the size of the file stored in your local cache (see: How to locate locally cached files in Autodesk Fusion 360).

Viewing the offline cache in the data panel would not resolve the upload issue (it will just show you the files that are stored on your local drive) so I wanted to follow up and ask if your designs have indeed been uploaded to the Cloud after changing the settings:

  • Does the blue spinning circle still appear over the thumbnail of the design in the Data Panel?
  • Can you see the latest versions of the saved designs in myhub.autodesk360.com?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Pawet,
now everything seems to work well, even with activating in preferences "Optimize file transfers depending on network performance". Yesterday I saw that Autodesk interrupted the online service for rescue problems for a few hours. I don't know if that also helped the problem.
Thank you very much for your support.

For what it's worth I had this problem with a project was working on today.

All other projects saved to cloud no problem but this one project just kept failing.

Turned off the Optimise preference in Network Preferences and the file(s) went up no probem.

Thanks!!

Hi, Paweł Potyrała,

I have the same problem, I also can't find the settings you specified, (the file is very large).
