Cannot renew personal subscription

I have a personal subscription for Fusion 360 which I am trying to renew (it has not yet expired). I have looked through the other posts with this issue. One post in particular described the exact problem I am seeing: Solved: 15 Users Reporting - Cannot Renew or Issue Personal Use Subscription - Autodesk Community - ...

However, that post appears to say that this was an internal problem and has been resolved (last year), however I am seeing the same issue today. After filling in the fields and clicking the Next button on this page (https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/personal-form?loggedIn=true) nothing seems to happen.

I have tried logging out and back in, trying on a different computer, etc.

@James.Youmatz, can you check if the problem has resurfaced?

In the past you cannot renew your Personal license until your old one has EXPIRED.

Is that still the case? I see the app showing me "expiring soon" and prompting me to renew now.

If it is the case that I need to wait for my current license to expire in order to renew, it would be nice to see that somewhere.

I have renewed my personal license 3 times now and in all cases I had to let the current license expire first.  Also, according to a lot of Forum posts, you think you can expect another change.  After you renew your personal license, Autodesk will be issuing you a 30 Day trial version before it switches to a Personal license.  The trial edition is a full subscription version so they are hoping you will find it valuable enough to purchase a subscription.  I have not experienced this yet, my license expires in October but, as I say, the Forum chatter seems to indicate this will be the case.

By the way, do not use the Quick Reply icon as this creates a Forum post addressed to yourself.  Use the Reply icon on the post you are responding to.

Hello,

My Fusion 360 personal license has just expired and as mentioned, after renewing it, it now shows the 30-day free trial. We will see. Also, all my files as still intact. Hope this helps.

You all set.  Autodesk changed their Personal License renewal so you will receive a 30 day trial version first.

I have the same problem: if you do still have to wait until the existing license has expired (as it used to be) then why does the app invite you to renew beforehand if it isn't going to work?

Also I noticed, when looking for a solution to this, that the Autodesk website says that a personal license lasts for 3 years - mine is asking for a renewal after 1 year. Is is 3 years or 1 year??

** Update **

After the 30 days the software automatically converted back to personal use with all files intact. They even added the ability to make file read-only or editable where it only counts the editable files.

After the 30 day trial window expired, the software automatically converted back to personal use. They even added the ability to change file status between read-only and editable. The software only counts the files with the editable status in the ten file limit.

I hope this helps.

Hi there,
It seem you're correct, as mine has gone to Trail version with 30 days left, and everything is like FULL version at this moment.
Anyway you would expect Autodesk to mention this to all renewal license holders, without me having to worry about losing my personal license in the first place, 10 editable drawing is enough for my hobby's.
To see how many days you got look at your profile while in Fusion 360 under Help then About, see photo below.
Cheers Andrew Have a great day.
