Cannot open Solidworks files that are imported into Fusion 360

I am able to import native Solidworks files (parts and assemblies) into Fusion 360. However when I try to open them from the Data Panel, it opens them in the Fusion Teams website. In other words it acts as if I selected the "View Details on Web" option. I am using the Personal Not for Commercial use version of Fusion 360. I also just installed the latest Autodesk Desktop Connector software. Any ideas?

This license does not allow translation of Solidworks designs.  See:  SUPPORTED-FILE-FORMATS

I see, I presume if I convert SolidWorks files to step files that I can import them but without the original SolidWorks structure. Thanks for the reply.
