Cannot offset curves

I am trying to go back in design history and offset a curve. When i click the offset button, the curve becomes unselectable. Please help me understand why.

I have to mention that sketch environment in fusion is very frustrating to me. It's either bugged, or counterintuitive, or just too hard for me, as i find many problems similar to this.

Hi,

As a workaround, you can create a new sketch on the same layer and project the curves of the sketch "problem"  into this sketch and then create the offset.

You did not specify which curve you are trying to offset but I will assume it is in the sketch named " Problem".  If so the problem you are experiencing is cause by the fact the sketch is not on the same sketch plane so you cannot select the curve. Edit the sketch, window it all, right click and select Move to sketch plane in the context menu.
