Newbie

Trying to import .dxf file with multiple images into 360.  Got file from seller on Esty.

Also once imported is there a tutorial for next steps to prepare for cnc cutting?

Thank you.

Hi,

1. the problem is caused by the superimposition of 6 partial sketches. Numerous lines lie on top of each other, some of them several times. This leads to the fact that no profiles can be generated.
2. what should happen to the contours?
In a first step, you could separate each element by copy-pasting it into a separate sketch.
Then you would have to align them. For laser processing, the individual sketches can then be used one after the other.

I imported your DXF and saved all layers to a F3D file.  I then went ahead and eliminated all the layers and showed you how to setup a laser cut profile in the Manufacturing environment.  I have attached two models, one of the unedited import and one of the manufacturing setup and profile for some of the sketch.

Thank you very much.  I will need to study this further to better understand.  Seems like you put a lot of effort into this.  Appreciated!  My intent is to cut out each of the layers individually then glue together for 3d effect.  I will be using Prover 4030 CNC router.
