cannot edit fillet radius after removing equal contraint, cannot apply equal contraint to 2 fillets

Hi all,

I'm learning sketch fillet tool and encountered several problems.

  1. I find if I remove the equal contraint from fillets, then I cannot change radius of them by editing the radius number except the first fillet I created. I know I can delete them and recreate new. But I think it's better if the radius number of the second fillet can be shown and editable like the first one.动画.gif
  2. I cannot apply equal contraint to fillets if they were created separately. At first, I thought it's because some other contraints conflict with it, but I tried deleting all contraints, the issue was still there. I know I can remove all fillets and then recreate them in one go. But I feel that's not convenient in certain situations. 动画1.gif

Hi,

If you remove the equal constraint, the 2nd radius will lack a dimension.

1. Type D and add dimension to the second fillet.  Now you can set to whatever size you like.

2. Uhmm, you already have = constraints on the

3mm fillets, so of course you cannot make any of those three fillets Equal to the 4mm fillet at the same time.

If you delete the 3mm or 4mm dimension then you can make equal.

Your statement about deleting all constraints is a different problem, lets call it #3.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Thanks for your rapid and clear answer, I've tried and it solved my problem.
I'm just begining to learn Fusion360, and hadn't learnt "dimension" at that time.

And the description I wrote in the question #2 is not correct.
I didn't know "dimension" is a contraint, so I did't delete "all" contraint as I said.
