Cannot dimension correctly off of the sheet

See attached, I need to dimension (using double arrows) the centre of a radius (96.218) to the centre of a hole. The radius centre is off the sheet so I would need to use double arrows to show the part I'm referencing isn't in view.

How do we do this in fusion?

I have created a simple drawing and manually added the double arrow with "110 to ctr" to try and show what I need to do. Hopefully I'm just being stupid and haven't clicked something!

Thanks in advance

Rob.

Take a look at the Animated GIF.  You can choose the position of the offset center and the location of the dimension.  Of course you have to select the entity being dimensioned first.

Hi John,

Thanks for your reply. If you look at the image I sent, it already has that format of dimension included........?

I want to dimension from the centre of that rad which is way off the sheet to a hole or an edge on the part. This could be done in other cad programs (no names mentioned) and the result would be a double arrow on one side of the dimension indicating the other side is not visible.

Or does my memory fail me again!???! 😒

Project attached.

This may not be the preferred way to dimension this but it does, I think, highlight the fact that this option is not available in fusion when it is in other CAD systems.

The linear dimension you desire which creates the double arrows to indicate the dimension end is off the view is not available in Fusion at this time.

Ok, it's not available in fusion but, how do we do this? How do we get around it?

I cannot be the only person requiring this function so how could we get around this?

One possibility is to use a Broken View.  This would possibly allow you to position both dimension points on the same view.
