Cannot create drawing

Does anyone else have issues creating drawings? I can create 3D models just fine but when I try to create a drawing a blank page is displayed (no title block) and I am unable to insert any views.

My computer is an Acer E15 that I bought in 2019. It has a dedicated video card which is a Nvidia MX150. I have created drawings in the past but I can’t remember if the OS was updated to Windows 11 yet.

Hey @dacusick

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble.

There are a couple of things that you can try.

1) Graphics setup

2) Graphics setup for some older unsupported graphics drivers

With the 3D model open, I have tried clicking on design (on toolbar)->drawing->from design. Then I get a pop up for the sheet size, title block, etc….. I click ok then a blank page is displayed with a dashed border. The program does not accept any inputs other than zooming or exiting the program. I have also tried right clicking the model in the data panel and creating the drawing that way but that ends up giving me the same results.

When I try to create a new drawing without selecting a model first, it just prompts me to save a 3D model design and starts an empty 3D design.

I will note that the title block option is always set to from scratch. I halfway expected a default on to be available.

I will try the things mentioned in the article. I know the driver is up to date but I did not do a clean install as your article mentions.
Based on other things I have read, I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling fusion. Changing the graphics driver to both direct x options, Disabling the GPUs independently, and messing with the performance settings for the program.
