After searching around I didn't see anyone else with the same problem as me. I am trying to split this body up into surfaces so I can group them appropriately and when I try the Unstitch command it gives me an error: "Infinite body - no bounding shell found"
Not sure why this would be happening. Any help would be appreciated!
I attached my scene file below
Thank you!
thanks for sharing the model, @Anonymous - I can verify this error. Let me send this to the team to see if they have any more information about this problem.
Ah, thank you! Let me know, if it isn't clear what the problem is then we can always proceed without splitting up that part, but would be ideal if we could. Seems like it has something to do with the surfaces connected with the blades.
Thanks for your time,
Nathan
Hey thanks for doing this, could you tell me what was going wrong so I am aware for next time?
Oof, well thank you for taking the time to do that! It will work for our purposes so I appreciate the help, maybe the Autodesk team will find a solution inside Fusion. But at least I can get this engine ready to be processed.
Cheers,
Nathan
created bug FUS-60140 to track this one. Thanks for sharing the model
Of course!

Hey I am having a similar issue trying to unstitch another body... when you have some time would you mind unstitching this one too, if it's not too much trouble? I tried downloading a trial of Inventor, but can't figure out where the options are haha.
Thanks,
Nathan

Ha, very very few people outside of those who have gone through my advanced neutral format repair classes know the keys to getting into the Inventor Construction/Repair Environments.
