Can't see the body behind the sketch plane surface

I am having an ongoing issue with the following. When I go into sketch on the design of a component, the sketch plane comes up and completely covers the entire part to the degree I can't see edges, circles, or points unless I cursor over them. It was never an issue before as the sketch plane indicator would be a small box similar to the size of the origin symbol. Now, it covers the entire part. Any ideas what is causing this?

Hi! Does it happen to this particular model? Or it happens to any model? If it is model specific, please share the f3d file here.

Many thanks!

Thanks for reaching out. What I found is I had worked on a prior part where my snap to grid was .005 instead of .050. Worked great on the part I was designing and machining. For subsequent parts I did not change the settings and the sketch grid was so dense with graduations I could not see my part behind it. Threw me for a loop.

Thanks again
