Can't paste component as new components

Hi,

I get a random issue after trying to paste the component as new component. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Hard to see in the video as it's quite small but I think the problem is you're trying to paste into the same component you copied. Try right clicking a different component in the browser then paste new. You can even paste into the top level component. You can also sometimes have problems if the timeline is rolled back.

Thanks for the reply.

I also tried to paste it directly into the top level component. Didn‘t help. It think it’s related to a feature in the timeline. After some point if I work with certain surfaces, I get even more issues.

any ideas?
